Frequency: third Friday of alternate months

BIG NUMBER THREE

Thanks to everyone for swinging out to the Shanghai Restaurant to take part in the Ottawa Comic Jam's "Mini-Con" last night. It was great catching up, seeing mini-comics and beautiful paintings.

Our Next jam is May 30th and will mark the Ottawa Comic Jam's 3rd Anniversary! We always throw quite the 'do' on our anniversaries, so please come out and join us. Usually there are prizes, draws, feebies and special treats to share and of course our regular jam!

The Orleans/ East Comic Jam is still in its nascent stage, but has had FOUR meetings already! There is a LOT of buzz about the event - if you're in the Orleans area, check it out. It will be running the third Friday of alternate months, if all goes well. Spread the word!

Why Jam?

Drawing together is a great way to improve storytelling, speed, confidence and watch your work take unexpected turns for the better. Isolation is rough for creative types: jamming is the antidote!
