The September Comix Jam theme was suggested by Gerard Belec. He thought telling stories
backwards would be a ton of fun; and he was SO right! The idea was that the first panel you drew on the page was Panel 6 (that
is the END panel of the story). The next person had to draw panel 5 and so on, until finally the last person drew the beginning
of the story (Panel 1)
It was a delightful challenge: a much more structured event
than usual. When you read the comics, remember that the last panel was drawn first! They should be readable, backward OR forward
really. Enjoy!
Thanks again to everyone who came out and took up the jam’s theme: Clayton Jacobs,
Andrew Stutt, Elizabeth Walsh, James Rule, Amy VanTorre, Gerard Belec, Susan Shore and guest visitor Keith Savage.
Gerard started this comic (drew
the "final" Panel 6)!
Susan started this comic (drew
Panel 6)
Amy kicked off this story (starting
with Panel 6)
Liz launched this fun story (starting
with Panel 6)
Clayton pulled this one from
his creative brain (starting with Panel 6)
Suzanne launched this super-heroic
tale (starting with Panel 6)
I _think_ Amy started this oddball
tale of MYSTERY (starting with Panel 6)
Andrew launched this fantasy
story (told backwards, but beginning at Panel 1)
Amy started this tale (starting
with Panel 6)
Suzanne started this fantasy
one off (starting with Panel 6 _and_ ending with Panel 1!)
Gerard got this one going (starting
with Panel 4)
A bit of dinosaur silliness (this
started normally, at Panel 1)
