Wednesday October 28th was a grim and dreary evening, perfect for a horror-themed comic jam
at our favourite home-away-from-home; the Shanghai!
For 3 hours, artists created a great number of pages (over 20), crazy stories, unique characters
and memorable one-liners: "Because I Have No Eyes!". We were interviewed for CKCU (93.1 FM) radio by Nicki Thomas, and filmed
for TV by Carleton journalism students Meghan Sali, Andrew Foote and Erin Walkinshaw.
It was a memorable evening where almost everyone got to share a piece of their knowledge
and interest in comics for radio or TV. We didn't scare too many folks from the Shanghai and Helen was her usual patient and
lovely self (this is the delightful woman who brings me dumplings and beer!)
